Venture AOT Closed Testing

Closed Community Lore Mode is half of AOT: Venture’s identity. The Roblox group says so in one sentence: lore plus Freeplay. Public streets are where you learn to reel. Closed sessions are where Apeworm7 tries maps, gas rules, and combat volumes on people who will say when it feels wrong. This page is the etiquette and expectation sheet. Watch the tester clip in the middle, then read before you beg for a role.

What “closed” actually means

It is not a paid exclusive forever. It is a smaller server with extra rules while systems are sharp. Patreon supporters have been granted Discord roles automatically on purchase — that is one on-ramp, not a guarantee of a slot tonight. Staff from the tester channel (including a retired assistant manager who posted footage) have used YouTube to show work in progress, not to drop public keys.

If you are not in a wave, play Freeplay. Do not crash a Lore instance with a script. That is the fastest way to stay closed out. Script safety.

Closed Community Testing gameplay

What testers have already shown

• Early combat: grabs, napes, ugly angles. How to kill titans.
• Non-gas consuming swing experiments. How to swing.
• More gas in a later public-facing clip, which may or may not match Lore that week.
• New map geometry. Map update.
• Skill wipes for teaching videos. Buy Gas Burst again without writing a ticket.

Treat every clip as a shard, not a patch note. Ask Discord whether today’s Lore uses the fuel rule you just watched.

Etiquette that keeps waves open

1. Show up with Y already working. Do not spend tester minutes on the spawn glitch. Getting started.
2. Listen to the host. If the scenario is defend, do not farm every titan for points.
3. Call blinds in squad play even if you are nervous.
4. Do not leak unreleased streets as “secret XP spots” on public TikTok.
5. File bugs with steps: bind, gas, map, what you expected. “ODM sucks” is not a report.
6. Expect wipes. Your doubled skills might vanish. Burst is still the correct repurchase.

Review takedowns

The place has gone under Roblox review. Players in comments thought the game was deleted. It came back. If you cannot find the experience:

• Check the group and discord.gg/aotventure.
• Do not hop into a copycat place with a similar name.
• Do not install a “fixer” executor.

When it returns, spawn glitches often return with it. Rejoin, NPC, Y.

How to ask for tester access without being that person

Useful: “I can reel, I have a mic, I will write bug notes.” Useless: “Give key I have 10k hours Levi.” Hours in Revolution do not transfer. Hours in how to swing do.

If you never get in, you still have Freeplay, guides, and this wiki. Lore is extra. It is not the only way to play Venture AOT.

After a test session

Write down whether gas felt stingy, whether swing cost fuel, whether napes needed two hits. That log is how you translate a closed night into next week’s movement tier list. Then go to updates and see if we dated the same change.

Bring friends through Discord, not through a leaked teleport.

Bug notes that testers actually want

Write: input device, reel bind, whether WASD was held, G before and after the incident, map (old streets vs new showcase), and whether Lore rules were on. Attach a clip if you have one. Do not attach an executor log.

Useful: “Middle-mouse reel on the new spire yanks me into cobbles at 80 ping.” Useless: “game laggy fix ODM.” The first sentence can change a solver. The second is noise.

If you cannot write notes, you can still play Freeplay and use this wiki. Lore is not a rank. It is extra homework. Guides remain valid either way. When a wave ends, go back to getting started habits so public streets do not feel “too easy” or “too empty” compared with the test shard.
